When my family moved into this neighborhood in Nov. 2003 we knew that we were moving into a nice area. That feeling was reaffirmed this past weekend when my immediate neighbor and best friend, Kristie Dunn, lost everything in a fire. The emotional and financial support from all of the neighbors has been outstanding. I’d like to thank everyone on behalf of the Dunn family. An account has been established at Fifth/Third Bank called the “Dunn Family Fire Fund” using the funds collected by Tracy Valdez along with other donations from friends, family and co-workers. Anyone wishing to make a contribution can go into any Fifth/Third Bank and mention the account.

I am very proud of my grandma for going around and using her time to help out our neighbors. That is just the kind of mother or grandmother that I LOVE in the family. I would just like to thank her for that and helping out a neighbor out.

I would like to thank my neighborhood for their generosity when a family was in need. When gas prices are over four $ a gallon. I know that my neighborhood is strugling along with me but you reached into your pockets and still gave. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
