In case you missed it, a home in our neighborhood was featured in this week’s issue (9/10/08) of the City Pulse. Unfortunately, it was in the “Eyesore of the Week” column.

I knew the owners lived in New Jersey, but I was extremely surprised to learn that they are actually public officials according to this article!
At least at one point in time there was a bench warrant for the owners. So that would be quite interesting if the New Jersey deputy attorney or the Essex county assistant prosecutor were arrested for their failure to comply with code violations back here.
This is one of a few problem properties on Malibu drive. Several are in foreclosure. Neighbors are hoping that a very responsible landlord will purchase those properties.
